Today, the streets of Venezuela are filled with the voices of thousands demanding freedom, justice, and respect for democracy. Citizens are standing united to recognize the rightfully elected president, Edmundo González Urrutia.Democracy is a sacred right that must be respected. The Venezuelan people are calling for the world to stand with them as they exercise their right to protest—free from violence and persecution.
We commend the courage and leadership of María Corina Machado, whose unwavering commitment to freedom inspires a nation and the world.
